What is Luminance Studio?
Luminance Studio, a Pixarra Studio software, is designed for painting with luminance in both natural media and design style artwork. It provides a unique approach for natural media art, starting with a black background and progressing towards light. It excels in luminance-style line art, ideal for abstract creations.
The software includes five primary ArtSets: Paint, Design, Overpaint, Scribblers, and Masking, and five user ArtSets, each holding up to 60 brushes. Its user interface is clean and intuitive, offering both dark and lighter color themes.
Luminance Studio features a paper texture collection for added depth and realism. It also includes Quick Access Panels, a Quick Command Panel, and a Brush Effects System. Additional features include a 64-bit color painting system, a powerful brush engine, automatic saving, brush compatibility with other Pixarra Studio products, tracing paper, up to nine floating reference image panels, a sketchbook system, and the ability to save work in various standard image formats.
