What is linwin?

linwin installs Windows 10 next to an existing Linux system without a USB stick or DVD. It creates the partitions in unallocated disk space (or shrinks a Btrfs root online, LUKS supported), copies the Windows installer to a temporary partition that replaces the USB drive, boots it once and installs Windows unattended. The Intel RST/VMD driver (so the installer can see the SSD) and Wi-Fi/Ethernet drivers from the Microsoft Update Catalog are added automatically. Windows is then added to the GRUB, systemd-boot, Limine or rEFInd menu, and Linux stays the default. Everything can be undone with one command. Works on Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Arch, openSUSE and more, with a GTK 4 interface or the command line. Free and open source (GPL-3.0).
