LinkShift information
What is LinkShift?
LinkShift is a hosted redirect management platform for teams that need precise control over where HTTP traffic goes - without editing nginx, CDN rules, or application code for every URL change.
Connect your own domains (with automatic HTTPS), organize them in domain groups, and define redirect rules that match paths, query strings, wildcards, or regex. Set priorities and HTTP status codes (301, 302, 307, 308). Build dynamic destinations with placeholders, modifiers, and conditionals—for example routing by user agent, language, or request path.
Use link maps to run branded short links at scale: one prefix rule plus thousands of key ? URL entries, with optional fallbacks and per-key analytics. Validate changes with simulation, stored redirect tests, and built-in analytics (hits per rule, top keys, request variants).
Manage everything in a web dashboard or via an organization-scoped API (OpenAPI spec, API keys). Safety features include destination validation and monitoring on write.
Free public tools on the site include a redirect chain tracer and QR code generator.
LinkShift issues redirects on your domains; it does not host your websites or act as a CDN. Service is hosted in the EU with global use. Free and paid subscription plans are available.
