Comments and Reviews
works great, prefer it for making gifs over sharex
I love this little app. It's free, lightweight and really easy to use.
Stumbled across LICEcap this morning looking for something to do exactly this. Application runs on top of everything else and allows you to size window to the area that you want to capture. Once you click record, it just grabs anything inside its border and saves it to an animated gif file. it comes as an installer, but if you open it with 7zip and grab the exe file, that is all you need to run it. This is definitely a keeper for my utility usb drive. I can't say that I have a regular use for this functionality, but it does one thing and it does it well. Excellent discovery!
Created by the Makers of the popular Reaper audio production software to easily show features and bugs. It is free for anyone to use to make video recordings of part or all of the screen for any reason to put in the GIF format
Exactly what I was looking for..great for making on-the-fly 'tutorials' to clients' questions.
