Linux Installer for ARchives a.k.a liar is an easy to use command to install software packaged as an archive on Linux systems.

liar is a standalone Shell script to install, list and remove software packaged in an archive file of one of the following formats: .tar .tar.bz2 .tar.gz .tar.xz .tar.Z .tbz2 .tgz and .zip.
