Three things:
- The export feature missed about half my saved films
- The suggested movie feature is extremely limited and keeps suggesting the same small pool of related films. Not helpful.
- The community and reviews are extremely toxic and harmful for making actually decisions on what films to watch.
Start a local collection on something like Tellico instead.

Comments and Reviews
I believe Letterboxd is movie-logging done right.
The website is sleek, the app is constantly being updated, the review system is functional and perfect for starting discussions, the profiles have descriptions, favorite movies and features reviews, the paid accounts have fairly-priced -- but not vital! -- upgrades and, last but not least, the community is engaging, fun and insightful.
My knowledge of movies has improved tenfold since I joined the community more than 3 years ago. Through comments, user lists and favorites, I have discovered interesting titles and shied away from blockbusters.
Letterboxd, to me, is irreplaceable and unique in its approach to movies, and worth investigating if you're unhappy with your current platform or looking to get started in the cinephile life.

Has turned me into a movie snob. Don't regret it
I love the watchlist feature and the premium feature of personalized stats and filtering by availability on streaming service
The joke reviews get annoying, but you can just ignore those
it's not clogged with unnecessary info like IMDB has become over the years, and it's more focused on sharing and discovery
The go-to website for tracking movies. It has good UI as well. Although I've switched to rate.house since it tracks music, tv, books, games, and podcasts as well.
