What is Leantime?
Leantime is the project management system for non-project managers. It is a people-first project management system designed specifically for neurodivergent minds. Unlike traditional tools built for neurotypical users, Leantime combines behavioral science, AI, and a patent-pending motivation framework to make managing work easier for people with ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism. The platform balances simplicity with powerful features that address executive function challenges while keeping users engaged and motivated. With both open-source and SaaS options, Leantime is as simple as Trello but as feature-rich as Jira, making professional project management accessible to everyone.

Comments and Reviews
I have tried all the free open source options and this is the one who I stuck with. Kanban board, gantt charts, calendar, to-dos, inspiration, etc. and i dont have to self host. Many tools and the best UI make it simple and efficient. It has features that others ask money for. I hope it stays like this!
*Broken and requires web server setup (LAMP).* I'M a simple linux user that likes open source applications. This is not an actual app, but a defunct apache server extension. The official installation guide is shortened to only *8*! bullet points. Instead of helpful documentation, the company recommends buying their managed services. "Community" is reffered to for help via an invalid discord link. Installation fails after multiple attempts. Code is not ready for production. Debugging line by line. Where is the docs? Why is there no reliable way to install? Of course, if the hurdle is too much for you poor user, just put your data on our servers. From a privacy-concious user standpoint, a big scam!
There's an official docker image.
I know this comment is quite old now but I wanted to call out that since then we have significantly improved our documentation (https://docs.leantime.io). As the previous commenter mentioned we have a docker image available which is now the primary way most people install Leantime. However Leantime can be installed on almost any host including shared hosting provders (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QXrW8YWKLI)
Note: this is Free (not Freemium).
Powerful feature set, relatively easy install with minimum requirements (working great on shared hosting). Actively maintained.
