What is Laranode?

Laranode is a self-hosted, open-source alternative to cPanel and Plesk for managing a VPS or dedicated server, with no licensing fees. It is built with Laravel, Inertia.js and React.

Features include multi-account support with role-based access for admins and users, website management, one-click Let's Encrypt SSL, a built-in web file manager, live CPU/memory/network stats, LAMP stack administration (Apache, MySQL, PHP), a PHP version manager (7.4 to 8.5, assignable per website), MySQL database management, UFW firewall rules from the web interface, and a backup manager that backs up and restores accounts, website files and databases locally, over S3 or over SFTP, on demand or on a retention schedule.

Laranode installs on a fresh Ubuntu 24.04+ server with a one-line installer, or runs as a single Docker container.
