Lampada

Lampada is a free app for personal prayer. It doesn't pray for you or hand you ready-made answers: it helps you pause, focus and pray in your own words.

Name what you bring to God, such as gratitude, a worry, a hard decision or a family member, and choose how long to pray. AI then asks gentle questions, each building on your previous answer, and Lampada finds Bible passages that fit the meaning of your prayer. You can read or listen to them. Answer by text or voice, or simply reflect in silence; any question can be skipped. At the end comes one closing question: what do you want to carry into your day?

Your prayers, answers and recordings are kept in a journal on your device, protected by an optional PIN or Face ID. AI works only with your permission, separately for each feature, and the app works without it too. No ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics SDKs or trackers.

Also included: a prayer timer, calm background music that plays offline, prayer reminders, several Bible translations with audio narration, and an interface in English, Russian and Ukrainian. The source code is open (MIT).
