Knox Alternatives

    Knox is described as 'offers easy disk image encryption and comes with a built-in backup service. Knox can automatically back up any or all vaults to a local hard drive, an iPod, an iDisk, or a network volume' and is an app in the Backup & Sync category. There are more than 25 alternatives to Knox for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Mac, Android and iPhone. The best alternative is TrueCrypt, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Knox are Windows BitLocker (Paid), LUKS (Free, Open Source), Encrypto (Free) and EncFS (Free, Open Source).
