Kadriser is a free native app for macOS and Windows that opens the files VFX artists, technical artists, game developers, and scientists work with in one fast viewer. Drop a file and look inside. No account, no internet needed, and your files are never changed.
Images: plays EXR and other image sequences at full float precision, with layers, channels, a live histogram, and OpenColorIO. Deep EXR, HDR, AVIF, HEIC, 16-bit PNG and TIFF, sprite sheets and animated WebP are supported too.
Video: ProRes, HEVC, AV1, and 10-bit HDR clips decoded on the GPU, with subtitles and a technical timeline with timecode and frame stepping.
3D: glTF, FBX, OBJ, PLY, STL, and Alembic, including skeletal animation, shape keys, deforming caches with changing topology, and a scene tree.
Volumes: OpenVDB files and sequences from Houdini, EmberGen, or Blender, shown as smoke, SDF surfaces, or streamlines.
Gaussian splats: SPZ, PLY and SOG captures, as splats or point clouds.
Science: GeoTIFF and COG with coordinates and values under the pointer, plus MRC and ENVI stacks.
Built on Metal and Direct3D 12. Runs on Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 14 or later, and on Windows 11.
