ImageOptim is excellent for publishing images on the web (easily shrinks images “Saved for Web” in Photoshop). It's useful for making Mac and iPhone/iPad applications smaller (if you configure Xcode to allow better optimization).

This program, unfortunately, does not have the same quality and ease of use as “JPEGmini”. Therefore, I can not recommend it, unfortunately.

Only gave me a 6% reduction of file size, whereas JPEGmini gives me up to 80%.

This browser extension is really bombastic! Because, I have tested hundreds of programs of this kind and this one is one of the best (if not one of the most beautiful). Because, at “SAME” quality setting, the JPG files here, significantly smaller, than the competition, and it is available for free, unlike JPEGMini. Dreamlike, this program!
