Ok, something about this app caught my eye, specifically, the description. My brain gave me this signal like, "wait, somethings very weird feeling about this 🤔 ". So I did just a liiitle partial deep dive into the digital rabbit hole behind pegasus lore. If you're not aware, pegasus was/is a security app that turned out to be anything but. It has been revealed some years ago that its a sophisticated malware for iphone/ipad thats caused many issues to journalists and politicians. I wont say what countries g0vernmnt it came from, but I will say a man recently lit himself on fire in opposition to that g0vernmnt. This app HERE tho, is NOT pegasus, but the pegasus project. When you look it up, it appears to be a collective of journalists and media orgs that worked to expose the malware, with the help of some human rights NGOs. All sounds legit, right? Well hold on, the publisher of this app, I dont see that project mentioned at all, anywhere on the official reports on the pegasus project. Well I looked it up, and made my way to the employees of this company. I randomly pick one of the names, search it, and well what do you know? They advertise it right on their twitter, past employment is everyones favorite agencyy, same one sn0wdin used to work at. I could go on, but the TLDR is, stay far away from this app, It is not to be trusted. Replicate my steps if you wanna see for yourself 🤷♂️
(((Great security audit tool for mobile. Part of the Pegasus project. Set it and forget it. Has a widget.))) I had the same brain strain reading that. This is some seriously, gross gaslight. Glad I didn't use the service. But, Hey! It's got a widget!
