iText is an intuitive and refined text editor with word processing completely rewritten in Cocoa (so works with Afloat), and is suitable for both Power PC and Intel Macs. iText provides the simplest way to make gorgeous manuscripts on your Mac! iText has the TextEdit basics and just a few more important features - page numbers, columns, header/footer, footnotes - for manuscript writing. And a bookmark feature for effortless, lightning-quick navigation of your manuscript.
Comments and Reviews
Free Version: iText appears to use the Microsoft Wordpad engine for .rtf. Wordpad is being discontinued in the future, and some iText functionality may be lost on future systems. I didn't take a long look at things, but iText seems to have every font known to humanity.
