IOTA is a cryptocurrency aimed for IoT devices. I am a bit bored with the overhype around cryptocurrencies but I still love IOTA.

IOTA had a fixed supply going for it. This is now changing (without the consent of holders/users). Existing holders will have their ownership diluted. I don't own any IOTA and am not a fan of it nor do I follow it, but this is just really sad news. https://blog.iota.org/stardust-upgrade-iota-tokenomics/

Using directed acyclic graph (DAG) technology instead of the traditional blockchain, IOTA's transactions are free regardless of the size of the transaction, confirmation times are fast, the number of transactions the system can handle simultaneously is unlimited, and the system can easily scale.
