Comments and Reviews
As CD/DVD burning needs seem to have decreased in recent years, there has been a sharp increase in the bundling of malware/adware with such applications.
InfraRecorder is not one of them! It's UI is simple, it didn't throw a million options at me, and it worked a treat.
No new features in the last few years? So what. It is as good as it needs to be as far as I can tell.
"Discontinued"? It works perfectly for me on my win7 in July 2016.
You should maybe remove your new "Discontinued" flags and replace them by "No more up-to-date" in case a software is no more compatible with up-to-date configs.
Exceptional solution to burning your typical image, audio disc, data disc.
Much more responsive than CDBurnerXP. If you're on Windows, I recommend it.
Perfect replacement for Nero, were it not for much slower burning - 23 minutes in stead of 10 - but it's free which outways the slowness.
One of the easiest Image burning tools i've ever used... And its free!
The only thing I don't like about it is the inability to backup/copy audio disks. Fortunately, IMGBurn works well for that (if you use the *.bin format). Other that... great interface, not nearly as overly bloated as "a certain name-brand", and (best of all) it gets the job done. Just be warned... Some people complain about the "ok" button being grayed out when coping disks. Just insert a blank CD/DVD, and the button will become "clickable" again.
Using the program for 2 years now, nice and clean interface. Only "problem" is the lack of updates. Version 0.6 was on the roadmap for Autumn last year but hasn't released till today. Neither has Christian Kindahl posted a statement why the release has been postponed.
