What is InfraNodus?
InfraNodus can visualize any research notes, ideas, texts, even the Google search results on a certain topic as a text network. The words are the nodes and their co-occurrences are the connections between them. It is also possible to build network graphs using hashtags, which makes it a very quick mind map creation tool.
The resulting text network can then be used to identify the main topics and how they are connected, to get a good overview and a different perspective on any text. The software will also analyze the gaps in the existing knowledge, to help see how a specific research or topic could be developed further.

It is exactly what I was looking for, an application for visualizing my research texts and notes and finding new relations and the beauty of the graphs.
Sorry, but the application is not free! I looked at the homepage of InfraNodus and discovered, there is neither a free plan nor a free tier. Furthermore, if you host it on your own server or computer, you would need to pay for the enterprise plan. I was able to access the GitHub link on this website as well, but I received an error code 404 from GitHub. This indicates that the profile is absent, GitHub was unable to locate it, or that the link is incorrect. In fact, there are no alternative locations where one can obtain code. This means to me, the application is as well not open-source!
