Infected with virus?

Comment by dr_andus
about Infinite_Screen · Aug 2013 · Helpful Not helpful

I've tried to install this one but AVG flagged it up as infected with virus (medium risk, general behavioral detection, identity protection). The developer's website is anonymous, which did not make me any more comfortable... Is this a false positive or a genuine risk?

[Edited by dr_andus, August 17]

I think it's a false positive: I scanned it with Small VirusTotal iconVirusTotal and it found only 2 positive results on 46. Here the scan result: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/b97261daa1d2c14a1e211feaae38f6a311471e8e949cab35eefa8f82f9ec2219/analysis/1376725398/

Thanks for doing that. I've installed the software and the name of the developer does appear there.
