What is Incoming Call Only Launcher?

Incoming Call Only Launcher turns any Android smartphone into a secure, simplified "receive-only" device. It is designed for seniors, people with Alzheimer’s, or users with cognitive impairments, removing all smartphone complexity by blocking outgoing actions and non-essential features.

The app replaces the standard home screen with an interface showing only the time and date. It creates a safe environment where the user can only receive calls from a pre-approved list of trusted contacts managed by a caregiver or family.

Key Features:

  • No outgoing calls, messaging, or system settings access.
  • Automatically rejects unknown callers.
  • Senior-friendly UI with extra-large text and high-contrast buttons.
  • Incoming calls can start on speakerphone by default.
  • Two-tap confirmation to hang up, preventing accidental disconnections.
  • Hidden Admin menu (tap the clock 15 times) for contact management and PIN-protected settings.
  • Support for Kiosk mode and Device Owner status to fully lock the device (see tutorial how-to on GitHub).

Privacy & Ethics: The app is 100% offline with no data collection, no tracking, and no ads. It is open-source (MIT License) and built specifically to help families stay in touch with vulnerable loved ones without the risk of accidental dials or digital confusion.
