What is In Case?
In Case is a zero-knowledge encrypted vault for digital account access planning. Inventory your accounts, write messages for the people you care about, and name a trusted messenger. If you stop checking in for a configurable period (30, 60, 90, or 180 days), your messenger gets access. Everything is encrypted client-side with AES-256-GCM via Web Crypto API — the server stores only ciphertext, we literally cannot read your data. Open source (AGPL-3.0), built by a solo developer. Not a password manager. Not a will. A spare key for your online life. Pricing: $23/year or $198 lifetime. Free tier available with full encryption and up to 3 accounts.
