I am surprised nobody complain about Imgur's very annoying anti-adblock warning that keeps popping up when I go to the site! It wasn't like this before and I already tried unblocking the site but strangely doesn't work with Brave. Imgur also doesn't allow adult images or suggestive images even images that are not nude and shows just very little revealing parts. it has a highly sensitive censoring there. What is Imgur?
Imgur is a free and simple image hosting service with image editing feature. Signup is optional. Imgur is pronounced like image-er; imager.
The maximum non-animated file size you can upload is 20MB. Non-animated images over 1MB for anonymous uploads and 5MB for account holders will be lossily compressed. All non-animated images receive lossless compression that reduces filesize while maintaining quality. The maximum file size for animated images (like GIFs) and video is 200MB. Video uploads cannot be longer than 60 seconds. GIF and video files over 2MB will be converted to GIFVs, where the sound is removed. Large GIFs will be converted to GIFV, which shrinks file size while maintaining a high quality, perfect for our expert GIF makers.
There is an upload limit of 50 images per hour.
Images may be removed if they get no views in 6 months.
File types allowed: JPEG, GIF, PNG, APNG, TIFF, BMP, PDF, XCF (GIMP). The TIFF, BMP, PDF and XCF formats will be converted to PNG on upload.

Imgur is terrible now, it doesn't allow you to post a image via a mobile device unless you download their app, no thanks! It became instantly useless for me.

I only need a site for just linking images privately instead of sharing it.
It has been extremely overused, people started to put too much blind trust into it, so this kind of outcome is not surprising - it was pretty much inevitable.
useless. they rig views. proof: https://imgur.com/a/NXZ27I6
According to Categorify, imgur allows user-submitted images that contain nudity and sexual content.

Imgur is fine at what it does... but recent changes have lowered my score because of where I feel the service is heading. I understand advertisers don't like sexual content, but to ban it completely from the platform shows a policy shift on Imgur's side. "We're still a business - we need to be profitable."
3 stars not good enough, you should give it a 1 star for annoying anti-adblock popup, lack of privacy, and too much meme images on the front page. Also, what Imgur said that you quoted here sound like a load of bullshit. I am definitely never going back there again. I seek and demand a completely free and more private alternative if there ever is one out there.
