ImageFuel is a macOS media browser that works with existing folders. It allows you to add folders from your Mac and view all photos and videos in a single grid. It doesn't require a library, cloud, or account.
You can add multiple folders, including subfolders, and sort them by date, name, size, or type. Each folder retains its sorting settings. You can search by filename or folder path.
The software supports various formats, including RAW, JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, TIFF, GIF, WEBP, BMP, SVG, MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, M4V, 3GP. Thumbnails are generated by macOS, and RAW previews don't require conversion.
ImageFuel offers 16 color filters that you can apply to any number of images. You can preview the effect before confirming, apply different filters to the same batch, or apply one to all. You can save the edited images as copies or overwrite the originals.
The software also allows for bulk renaming of files using tokens. You can preview new names before renaming and resolve any duplicate conflicts.
Other features include cropping, metadata removal, and file management. You can select, delete, and move files easily.
ImageFuel is a native SwiftUI app that is fast, keyboard-friendly, and dark-themed. It runs entirely on your Mac without requiring a subscription, cloud sync, or account.
