What is IDMarkz?
IDMarkz is a standalone application that interacts with Adobe InDesign documents. It allows users to preview, convert, and open these documents in various formats and platforms such as QuarkXPress, Affinity Publisher, older InDesign versions, Acrobat, Illustrator, and more. Users can transfer their documents to their preferred editing application and export InDesign files to non-proprietary file types like IDML, PDF, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, and GIF.
IDMarkz lets users open Adobe InDesign files in earlier versions and other applications. It provides the ability to preview any InDesign file, zoom previews, and drag thumbnails to create a PDF of the page. It can export InDesign files as IDML without a Creative Cloud subscription, create PDFs with editable text from older InDesign files, annotate in Acrobat DC, and open in InDesign 2021. It also allows for the conversion of multiple Adobe InDesign files to IDML without a Creative Cloud subscription and can automate the file conversion process.
