What is IB Atlas?

IB Atlas (ibatlas.com) is an investment banking recruiting prep platform for students. Instead of juggling a 400-question PDF, flashcard apps, a market news habit, and a spreadsheet of contacts, you open one tab each morning and it tells you what to learn, what to drill, what to read, and who to message.

The technicals side is a 75-lesson curriculum from accounting fundamentals through valuation, DCF, M&A, and LBOs, with quizzes built into each lesson. You can drill it as spaced-repetition flashcards, take timed quant rounds, or run a back-and-forth mock chat that pushes follow-up questions the way a real interviewer would. The spoken mock interview goes further: you answer out loud into your mic, ten questions that ramp from core to advanced, and an AI grades every answer at the superday bar with a full debrief at the end. There's also a behaviorals section that builds a story bank from your resume and grills you on it, plus a placement diagnostic and a 180-question superday gauntlet.

Every morning you get a market brief written for interviews: the tape, the driver behind the session, and a line you could actually say when someone asks "what's going on in markets?" Sector briefs and industry group primers cover the "why this group" side.

The networking CRM tracks your banks, contacts, and pipeline from first email to referral, with follow-up reminders, a coffee chat calendar, and AI prep generated before each scheduled chat. It can suggest real, verified alumni and professionals worth reaching out to, guess any firm's email format, and help draft the outreach.
