What is Hylo?
Hylo was created to support people coming together to solve the great challenges of our time. The mission of the project is to empower communities to build a world that works for everyone. The team behind Hylo envisions a world where people everywhere can effortlessly share resources, solve problems, and create together to produce a more just, resilient, and sustainable world.
Comments and Reviews
The concept isn’t new (social media for social gatherings and organization), but many of its ideas for social communications, connection, action integration, project management and organization are refreshing. I don’t think there’s a close Big Tech alternative to it, except Facebook (maybe). This is therefore more than just a social media site — it’s a real connection oriented space for mission–driven groups and individuals eager to collaborate with new people to complete novel projects and movements (e.g., charity crusades to poverty–stricken communities, seasonal faith outreaches). Will continue to test more of its features and update as necessary.
