Easy to use, light on CPU consumption, open source and free! This is the best Remote Desktop program I've ever used! I see that some community members have voiced concerns in the past. It seems to me that HopToDesk has done their best to be open and transparent, despite some history concerns which appear to have been addressed. I'd love to see this project hosted on GitHub (currenly it is on GitLab). If there truly are concerns, let there be issues opened on such platforms so that they may be addressed properly and openly.
Edit: I've updated my review to 3 stars until the privacy and security of HopToDesk has been verified.

I just started using this HopToDesk program after TeamViewer. For a number of reasons, I abandoned TeamViewer. You know, this program works very well for me personally, I have not found any significant drawbacks. I recommend trying and evaluating HopToDesk
