What is HookEcho?

HookEcho is an open-source weather radar viewer built in Rust. It provides live NEXRAD radar, warnings, Level 2/3 analysis and archive playback in a browser or downloadable app.

Users can inspect reflectivity, velocity and dual-polarization products, compare radar views and revisit historical storms. Weather data comes from public NOAA and National Weather Service sources.

The project is free and MIT licensed, with no account or ads required.
