Habits is an Android app that I wrote to help me work towards my goals by turning them in to habits. The only way to get better something is to work at it, and I’d often find weeks go by without working on the things I wanted to get better at.

What is Habits?

Habits is an Android app that I wrote to help me work towards my goals by turning them in to habits. The only way to get better something is to work at it, and I’d often find weeks go by without working on the things I wanted to get better at. A website called Joe’s Goals helped me track my goals each day and showed me when I was letting things slip.

Time chunking tasks was another great help which eliminated distractions for me. The Pomodoro Technique was the best time chunking method I found.

I wanted to write an Android app to help me manage my habits which combined Joe’s Goals, the Pomodoro Technique with the simplicity of Todo.txt, my favourite To Do list program. I’ve been using it for a while now and decided to release it on to the Android Market for others to try.
