gnome-shell implementation of kde connect which has exactly the same features of it and can be more personalized.

In my little Linux world, I started off with KDE Connect and used it in my GNOME-based distro. Oops. Then I discovered GSConnect, which is another FOSS app that is an implementation of KDE Connect for the Gnome Desktop.

This is not a fork of KDE Connect, but has the same functionality so you can integrate it between Nautilus and your browser. But be aware that both apps require your devices to be on the same network to operate well.

I do have a wish list of improvements:

  • Improve the performance footprint on the desktop
  • Reduce the battery drain (if possible)
  • Refresh the interface
