What is Greenman?
Greenman is a British folk witchcraft reference app and grimoire for Android. Every piece of content draws strictly from documented British folk tradition — no invented folklore, no non-British practices such as smudging or chakras.
The app covers 18 content sections: Beginner's Path, Spells, Rituals, Herbs and Plants, Crystals, Triple Goddess, Wheel of the Year, Traditions by Region, Types of Witchcraft, Moon Phases, Folk Beliefs, Witch Marks, Symbolism, Folklore, History across nine eras, Misconceptions, Pilgrimage Locations, and the Witch's Kitchen. Moon phases are calculated locally with no internet connection required.
The free tier includes 10 spells per category, 20 herbs, 30 crystals, and all sabbats. Hedgewalker is a one-off purchase unlocking the full grimoire. The Cunning is a monthly add-on to Hedgewalker that adds AI features including an Ask the Hedgewitch chat, Ritual Builder, Plant Recognition, Crystal and Spell Matcher, Seasonal Guidance, Triple Goddess Guidance, and a Charging Station. All AI is grounded strictly in the tradition within the app and never invents folklore. The app works fully offline.
