Google Latitude shutting down August 9th

Google Latitude will be shutting down August 9th. I need an alternative that saves location history, and ideally could import the history I already have on Google Latitude. Any suggestions?

As Google is removing the Check –in Facility from Maps, the alternate solution is available, Google+. Which will let you share the current location with the social circles of your choice rather than adding people 1 by 1. As you already know, Circles are the Google’s way to categorize the people you know into groups.
