What is GoodBarber?
GoodBarber is an all-in-one SaaS platform for building professional native mobile apps for iOS and Android, plus Progressive Web Apps, without writing a line of code. Founded in 2011, it generates truly native output from a single web-based back office: three independent engines compile a native iOS app (Swift), a native Android app (Kotlin), and a PWA (JavaScript / Angular) from the same configuration.
A subscription bundles everything needed to build and run an app: design tools, the three output engines, hosting, database, a built-in CMS, push notifications, analytics, and payment processing. GoodBarber comes in two configurations: Content Apps (for publishers, media, communities, and creators) and eCommerce Apps (for mobile stores, with 0% commission on in-app sales and 22 payment gateways).
GoodBarber also builds AI into the platform at several levels. In the back office, AI helps creators generate color palettes, draft articles and product descriptions, optimize SEO, and translate content in one click. An AI Extension Builder (Beta) lets customers create custom app sections by prompt, with no code. The platform is also agent ready: an open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server lets AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT operate an app by natural language (products, orders, marketing, stats), while the customer stays in control. And for the app's own audience, a built-in RAG chatbot answers end-user questions using the app's published content as its knowledge base.
Beyond creation, the platform covers the full lifecycle: store publishing (App Store and Google Play), daily content and order management, analytics, and long-term updates. All customer and end-user data is hosted exclusively on servers in Europe. GoodBarber apps are downloaded once every four seconds across 152 countries.
