Secure file sharing tool with end-to-end encryption and auto-expiring links. Forked from Firefox Send, it's now self-hostable and compatible with ffsend CLI. Share files up to 2.5GB privately and securely, knowing they won't stay online forever.

Gokapi is described as 'Lightweight server to share files, which expire after a set amount of downloads or days. It is similar to the discontinued Firefox Send, with the difference that only the admin is allowed to upload files' and is an app in the file sharing category. There are three alternatives to Gokapi for Web-based, Android and Self-Hosted. The best Gokapi alternative is Send, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Gokapi are TickFile and ooshare.io.

TickFile is a privacy-first, zero-log file sharing service with true end-to-end encryption. Files are encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM before upload — the key lives in the share link's URL fragment and never reaches the server, so it can't read or scan your data.

Provides AES-256-GCM in-browser encryption for text and files, enabling single-use, self-destructing links with no account needed, open source MIT, up to 50,000 characters or 10 MB, keys only in URL, auto-expires in 1–72 hours, and atomic deletion upon access.
