What is GogglePlayer?

GogglePlayer is a Windows 10/11 app for streaming media to DLNA MediaRenderer devices on your local network, including DJI Goggles 2 and DJI Goggles 3.

It is designed for cases where standard DLNA playback is unreliable or too limited. Open a local file, select a renderer, and press play. Compatible H.264 + AAC files can play directly, while unsupported formats such as MKV, HEVC, AV1, 10-bit video, HDR, VC-1, MPEG-2, AC3, DTS, Opus, FLAC and more can be remuxed or transcoded on the fly to H.264 + AAC.

GogglePlayer also supports split audio, allowing video to play on the DLNA renderer while audio is routed to local Windows speakers or bluetooth headphones. Startup delay, runtime offset controls, drift detection, and one-click resync help compensate for DLNA buffering and wireless latency.

Supported sources include local video files, webcams, OBS Virtual Camera, USB HDMI capture cards, and video URLs via yt-dlp when installed separately. Other features include subtitle burn-in, audio track selection, resume positions, persistent queues, auto-advance, cinema mode, keyboard shortcuts, hardware encoding with Intel Quick Sync, NVIDIA NVENC or AMD AMF, and OpenH264 fallback.

Local files stay on your local network. No account, no cloud upload, no telemetry, and no ads.

GogglePlayer is not for live drone feed, FPV broadcast, or screen mirroring. It is for local media playback over DLNA.
