Geotrek

Geotrek is a multi-application suite, fully open-source and free, widely used in France by more than 100 local authorities.

It is composed of 4 software bricks :

• Geotrek-Admin is a web-GIS application to manage data. It allows to draw and manage linear hikings, with sections and topological networks. Through its functional modules and thanks to dynamic segmentation, it is possible to enrich the Geotrek database with safety, projects and interventions, signages, POI, roadworks object types… and inform of tourist activities of territory such as open air activities, festivals, exhibitions, accommodations… This is an "agent-only" tool to be used by territories (national parks, touristic organizations, departments ...).
• Geotrek-Rando is a PWA website dedicated to general public, that allows the promotion of the territory thanks to publication of information entered in Geotrek-admin. This platform highlights all touristic information and put forward natural preservation information as well as restricted regulations.
• Geotrek-Mobile is the same as Geotrek-Rando but as a mobile application publishable on Android and iOS.
• Geotek-Widget is the last tool with the same objective as Geotrek-Rando but with the advantage of being a simple web component instead of a complete application and can therefore be embedded on any existing website.
