I always find those *nix gui aesthetics funny, as if they deliberately want to look ugly and force you to terminal where all *nix action actually should be. I mean they even have toolbar icons w/o alpha channel (or same bg as toolbar bg), and I just hope that proportional font is not default set as editor font, but hey you can change that easily from toolbar I guess :D
