I use this on my GNU/Linux System it runs fast and lets me know when i get an email quickly. Dont know how much memory it pulls so have to check up on that. It does Imap only
It's just what you expect it to be. Easy to set up email client.
Really lightweight but still feels modern, so it's good for lower-end hardware. IMAP features are 90% of what most people will need, most of the time. Plain text email, formatted email, moving messages around, multiple accounts, etc. Comparable to
Apple Mail, but for Linux.
It's just email, and assumes you have another application for contacts and calendars. (Think of it in terms of the classic Unix philosophy of using multiple tools, each of which does one thing well.)
Unfortunately there's still that remaining 10% for which you'll probably need your mail provider's web interface or something more complete like
Thunderbird, but Geary is plenty for most day-to-day use.
Good email client for Linux. It's simple, fast and modern, and it has enough features for my needs. Only thing is it could be a bit more customizable, but that's not a big deal.
Creating accounts is very easy, and the handling is very intuitive.
Sleek, simple interface with just enough features for casual email users.
Easy to set up, great yet simple UI.
