framechart information
What is framechart?
framechart renders animated data visualizations natively inside the DaVinci Resolve timeline. Drop a generator on a track, import a CSV, and bar charts, line charts, tables, and bar/line chart races render live on the GPU — no keyframing, no web-tool screen recordings, no PNG-sequence round trips.
Built for video output rather than the browser: sub-frame motion blur, GPU bloom, real alpha channel for compositing over footage, and rendering at your timeline resolution (4K and beyond). Column roles (time, category, value) are auto-detected from the CSV, with manual overrides in the Inspector.
For editors on Premiere Pro or Final Cut, a ProRes 4444 export with alpha from Resolve carries the same transparent chart into any NLE.
The full plugin is free with a small watermark; a paid license removes it. Windows and Linux today, macOS in progress. Requires DaVinci Resolve 18+.
