FrameOff information
What is FrameOff?
FrameOff turns "name that movie" into a competitive sport. You're shown a single frame and have to guess the title. Need a hint? Reveal more frames, but each one lowers your score. Maximum points reward correct guesses on the first frame with no hints.
What makes FrameOff different from other movie guessing games like Framed or Flickle is the live 1v1 ranked mode: matchmaking pairs you with a random opponent, both players see the same frames at the same time, and you race to guess. Win or lose adjusts your ELO rank. There's also a daily challenge that gives everyone the same 5 movies (like Wordle, but for films), and a challenge-friend mode where you share a code so two people can compare scores.
The database includes around 1,500 movies. The game is completely free, with no ads, and no signup is required for the practice mode. Works in any modern browser and on mobile.
