What is ForgeKit?

ForgeKit is a free, Windows-native PHP development environment for running multiple projects with different stacks side by side.

It lets each site use its own PHP version, database, and Apache or Nginx instance, without Docker, WSL, or global version switching. ForgeKit includes local beautiful domains, HTTPS, Composer support, tray controls, custom binaries, LAN access for testing sites on phones and other devices, and migration guidance for XAMPP, Laragon, WAMP, and Herd users.

It is designed for Windows developers maintaining both legacy and modern PHP projects, especially when a single fixed local stack is no longer enough.

All from a clean UI that does things in just 1-2 clicks.
