What is FoliCon?

FoliCon is a free, open-source Windows application designed to automatically create and apply custom, high-resolution folder icons for movie, TV show, anime, game, and music collections.

Instead of manually creating and converting .ico files, FoliCon connects directly to online metadata databases (TMDB, IGDB, DeviantArt) to fetch official poster art, fan art, and live ratings (IMDb, TMDB). It then compiles them into stylized 3D folder icons and updates Windows Explorer icon caches in real-time.
