Folder View is described as 'Free (freeware) add-on for Windows that drastically enhances the way you browse the folders on your system' and is an app. There are eight alternatives to Folder View for Windows and File Explorer. The best Folder View alternative is Filezo. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try Direct Folders or FlashFolder.
