Comments and Reviews
Best free and open source keyboard on Android with gesture typing (swipe typing). Easy to use and settings are easy to understand.
Two gestures are very helpful. First, on the backspace key, swipe left to select text, then release the key to delete everything you selected. The farther you swipe, the more text gets deleted. If you go too far, you can move your finger to the right to select less text before releasing the key.
Second, swiping left/right on the spacebar moves the cursor left/right in the text field.
Great keyboard and keymaping is perfect now just waiting for auto suggestions
Auto suggestions are missing
It's really needing autosuggest implementation! Now to make it excellent , better glide (word accuracy and lang support beyond Eng), and this is going to be the Gboard killer.
Edit: project is rarely updated so I take back my 'Gboard killer' opinion. Tbh I don't think any app gets near Gboard, especially if you regularly use more than 1 language. Will sadly go back to it
It has many features like GBoard, but is open source and values your privacy.
Open source good keyboard. The only minus, and the minus, why i deleted this keyboard, is glide typing. It's very useful while walking and not being able to touch accurately or just typing, but in this keyboard this feature isn't working well and in other languages than English it doesn't work at all.
What keyboard did you switch to?
