What is Flacon?
Flacon extracts individual tracks from one big audio file containing the entire album of music and saves them as separate audio files. To do this, it uses information from the appropriate CUE file. Besides, Flacon makes it possible to conveniently revise or specify tags both for all tracks at once or for each tag separately.

Said about Flacon as an alternative
FoobarMitzvah It is simple, free/libre and reliable. It allows to convert the audio to one of multiple encoders, such as FLAC, AAC, MP3 or Opus, always being able to control the encoding parameters. It also allows to fine-tune the output directory and the tags (artist, album, etc.) of the output files
no need of wine on ubuntu !
It's smooth, polished, easy to use (despite many formats you can convert between) and does what it's supposed to do. Thumbs up.
