Firemin is a small utility to reduce the amount of memory Firefox or other browsers use. Although Firefox memory usage improved a little over the last few years, it still uses a lot of memory; a little more than we feel comfortable with.

Love it! Works like a charm. Allows keeping Firefox (or any other Browser btw) under a RAM threashold you decide. Despite the alternative listed, this tool is not about "tabs unload". It's really an active Memory optimizer. For me it's very usefull on a 8 Go RAM laptop where I need to do some "heavy" work while keeping a Browser open. By limiting the amount of memory taken by the browser I have more available for my work. And this tool is lightweight!
