The best application for beating my distractions. The Dashboard is pretty much user friendly and customizable. There are few softwares that block websites and applications. I do my study related browsing in Chrome while I watch Youtube videos in Opera. That's where I waste much of my time. Now, I custom block few websites like Facebook, Youtube and also few browsers; which makes me to just use Chrome for my studies. This has really helped me to focus on my studies. I have tried many applications and nothing worked for me. I was skeptical about Findfocus at first, but I am really glad I found this software. Kudos to the developer, Martin Boeddeker, who cares much about his client's satisfaction.
If you're a chronic procrastinator like me, here's the solution. Give it a try !!
The software seems full of features, but I've been forced to suddenly remove it as the cpu usage was constantly very high, making my pc totally unresponsible. My pc is running Windows 10 with a very good hardware and I never had problems like this with any software I installed.
Keep Calm and and keep focus with FindFocus. One of the best productivity tool out there. Highly recommended.
I was concerned that I would be trying to "dig my way out of a hole" by trying to reduce distraction with more software.
But it is good. I have used it a few times and it is definitely worth using. Facebook is my main nemesis so it's good to stop it while I need to learn.
