It's the best open-source application to protect your photos from AI-intrusion.

Windows - Privacy, Security, Open Source

This is a list that prefers open-source and lightweight Windows applications. A few partially open-source or proprietary applications may be added if there are no great alternatives. Read the descriptions, as I wrote most of them, which gives advice on similar apps or other things to take into account. Comment at the bottom if you believe anything should be updated or have any questions.

What is Fawkes?

Introducing Fawkes - the software that adds an extra layer of protection to your online privacy.

With Fawkes, you don't have to worry about facial recognition algorithms tracking your every move. Instead of making you invisible, Fawkes "cloaks" your photos by subtly altering them, making it impossible for facial recognition systems to identify you.

This innovative technology is designed to corrupt the facial recognition databases, which are often scraped from social media sites without our knowledge or consent. Clearview AI, for example, claims to have collected three billion images of faces from websites like Facebook, YouTube, and Venmo. But with Fawkes, you can protect your identity and keep your personal information safe.
