What is FavLock?
FavLock is a private bookmark manager and personal library for bookmarks, documents, tasks, and saved articles. Users can import existing bookmarks, organize items with collections, tags, favorites, and Lists, and search protected library content locally on their device. Protected fields (including bookmark titles and URLs, document and task content, saved articles, and collection, tag, and List names) are encrypted in the browser before storage or sync. Account information and operational metadata are processed separately to provide the service. The web dashboard works without a browser extension. An optional Chrome extension can save the current page and capture supported articles for Reading. FavLock also supports browser-compatible bookmark exports and encrypted .favlock archives for portable backups.
