Factando is invoicing software for Dutch freelancers (zzp'ers) and small businesses, not a full accounting package.

Every invoice is tax-correct by default: sequential numbering, 21%, 9% or 0% VAT, the Dutch small-business scheme (KOR) and EU reverse charge with a live VIES check of your client's VAT number. You can create and download an invoice for free without an account or watermark.

Clients receive a PDF and a secure invoice link, no account or app needed. You see when they open it, and they can click "I've paid", which notifies you and pauses reminders.

With Pro, polite payment reminders go out automatically before and after the due date, on your schedule and with your own text. A day before each reminder, Factando asks you "already paid?", so a client who has already paid never gets one.

Pro also includes recurring invoices (monthly, quarterly or yearly), quotes that clients accept online and turn into an invoice in one click, a quarterly VAT overview split into the boxes of the Dutch VAT return, payment matching from a bank statement CSV, and an accountant export (CSV plus a UBL / Peppol BIS 3.0 file per invoice).

Pricing: free for 3 sent invoices a month and 5 clients, with no credit card or time limit. Pro costs €12 per month or €108 per year (excl. VAT) and comes with a 14-day free trial. Pro Teams adds up to 5 users and a free read-only login for your accountant. Data is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).
