FaceClock

FaceClock turns one Android phone or tablet into a time clock. Mount it by the door, and employees clock in and out by looking at the camera. Face matching runs on the device itself, so there is no server, no account to create and no internet connection needed.

The first time someone taps Capture, the app doesn't know them yet: it asks for a name and saves one reference photo. That takes about thirty seconds. After that, FaceClock recognizes the person and suggests check-in or check-out depending on whether they have an open shift.

What you get:

• A timestamped photo on every clock-in and clock-out, which makes buddy punching hard to hide
• Shift history you can search and review, with CSV and PDF export for payroll
• Up to 30 employees per device
• Configurable max shift length, button timeout and keep-screen-on mode
• Records older than 90 days are deleted automatically, so export before then if you need to keep them

The app requests no internet permission at all. Photos, face data and shift logs stay on the device, and the developer has no way to see them. It is free, with no subscription and no paid tier.

Good fit for cafes, small shops, workshops, construction sites and training schools. Not a fit if you need multi-site sync or a web dashboard: everything lives on the one device. The interface is in English and Russian.
